Can I animate an image without a reference video?
This workflow requires one character image and one driving video. For animation guided only by an image and text, use the Wan 3.0 image-to-video workflow instead.
How long can the driving video be?
Video orientation accepts 3–30 seconds. Image orientation accepts 3–10 seconds. Trim the source clip to the performance you want before uploading.
Can I choose the background and resolution?
Yes. Select the image background or the video background, and choose 720p or 1080p output. Orientation and background are separate controls.
What should I write in the prompt?
The prompt is optional. Try: “Follow the reference gesture, keep the blue jacket and soft daylight, and maintain a clear face.” Keep direction specific and avoid asking for actions that conflict with the driving video.
How are credits calculated?
The quote uses the verified reference-video duration and selected resolution. The generator shows the required credits before submission; check that amount before you start.
How can I improve character consistency?
Use a single clearly visible subject, compatible framing, and a sharp character image. Reduce occlusion, rapid cuts, and large changes in pose. Review the generated face and hands before using the clip.
